Love Your Neighborhood

Church doesn’t just happen on Sunday mornings. We believe our faith is practical and our lives are meant to be lived in service to others. We encourage people to go beyond Sunday morning and invest in their community by showing others the love of Christ. We seek out ways to care for people who need the hope of Jesus locally and around the world. Being the church beyond Sunday is a really big deal to us and is a part of whoe we are. We hope you agree and that you’ll jump in and be a part.

Back to School Blessings

Back-to-School Clothing & Supply Drive
Help us prepare students for a successful school year! We are collecting new or gently used, school clothing and new school supplies for approximately 50 school-aged children in the Forest Park Mobile Home community.
Students We Are Serving:
  • Kindergarten–3rd Grade: 15 children (10 girls, 5 boys)
  • 4th–7th Grade: 20 children (9 girls, 11 boys)
  • 8th Grade & Up: 12 students (8 girls, 4 boys)
Most Needed Items:
  • Socks
  • T-shirts
  • Shorts
  • Shoes
  • School supplies
Donations can be brought to the Connection Center Sunday mornings or to the Hope Center. You can donate physical items or a gift card for our team to purchase items needed. (Walmart, Target, Children’s Place are good options)
Every donation helps a child begin the school year feeling confident, prepared, and loved.

Grocery Donations

Each month we provide groceries to families in need at Benton Middle School with our partner organization, Hope for NOVA. Help us fill these grocery bags! The following items are needed and can be brought to the Connection Center at church on Sundays or dropped off at the church property anytime.

Free Sale

The Free Sale is one way our church serves families in need by providing them with coats, clothing, shoes, household goods, toys, and other items at no charge. We seek to build relationships and share love of Jesus by meeting the practical needs of our neighbors.

Hope for NOVA

Hope for NOVA is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to providing help to low-income and underserved individuals and families in Norther Virginia. We welcome individuals and teams from near and far who desire to volunteer to provide a pathway out of addiction, violence, poverty and human trafficking for people in need. Whether you are great at working with kids, serving meals, cleaning and organizing or leading people to Christ, God can use you to transform lives.
