KMOTION!!!
Thanks to lots of prayer and Planning with Janice Graham and Tracy Talley- we have vision and excitement for Our Children- planning is done in Four phases.
This week September 12, you are invited to drop your young ones off at the Kuzins house as early as 9:30am while you are at the Ashland Prayer and dedication service. Â Childcare will be provided. If you choose, we do encourage you to involve your school aged kids in the prayer service. Â It is important that they are excited and taking ownership. Â After all, this is their church!
Starting September 19- we will have two large enclosed spaces in the auxiliary gym dedicated to each of the following age groups. Â The enclosures will be safety gates, the floor will be foam- primary colors. Â We will need 2 TEACHERS-One for the Infant area and One for the Walkers area. Â We will also need 2 ASSISTANTS. We will need a TEAM LEAD stationed in the gym. Â When we start in October, we will need a TEACHER for preschool and another ASSISTANT in that age group. The “Think Orange” philosophy of Children’s Ministry
Read below to see where we are headed with Curriculum and Programming:
Founder of the Orange Conference, Reggie Joiner looks at what would happen if the church and families combined their efforts to create a revolutionary strategy to affect the lives of children.Families and churches are each working hard to build faith in kids, but imagine the potential results when the two environments synchronize, maximizing their individual efforts. What can the church do to empower the family? How can the family emphasize the work of the church? They can Think Orange. Former family ministry director Reggie Joiner looks at what would happen if churches and families decided they could no longer do business as usual, but instead combined their efforts and began to work off the same page for the sake of the kids. Think Orange shows church leaders how to make radical changes so they can:• Engage parents in an integrated strategy
- Synchronize the home and church around a clear message
- Provoke parents and kids to fight for their relationships with each other
- Recruit mentors to become partners with the family
- Mobilize the next generation to be the churchWith a transparent, authentic approach that gives every family and church hope for being more effective in their common mission, Think Orange rethinks the approach to children’s, youth, and family ministry.
