Welcome to The Road to Redemption, Hope Hill Church’s daily prayer journey for 2015.
Today is Ash Wednesday, a day when Christians all over the world mark the beginning of the church season of Lent. Lent is a journey through the earthly ministry of Jesus—his baptism, temptation, teachings and miracles—culminating in his death and resurrection celebrated at Easter.
Each day we will be journeying on the road to redemption together, with a passage from the Bible, a quote from a Christian writer, and a brief devotional thought. This series is meant to be an encouragement, that even through times of struggle and temptation, during seasons of loss or in the pain of sin, we can consider it all joy because we know the end of the story: Christ rose again, defeating sin and death.
