NYNM_logo_slideThroughout scripture you always see people growing, leading and contributing most in the context of community. For example, the Apostle Paul always had someone with him when he went out on his missionary journeys, and his letters clearly show his affection for others. Anytime someone is successful, growing or influential, it is in the context of community

The Benefits of Being in Community

Encouragement: I get to develop friendships, discipleship takes place, and people walk together through life.

Accountability: The people that I listen to are a preview of the future me, so make sure the right people hold you accountable.

Influence:  It is not just about my change and my growth, I am supposed to give my life away, A true follower of Christ is learning from someone and leading someone else.

Impact: The more I grow, the greater my potential impact. I can grow from a life of success to a life of significance.

Who are you learning from, and Who are you leading?

Who is in your life that is going to help you make and keep the change, then who is in your life that you are going to help make and keep the change?

Bottom Line: Your commitment to growth and change involves a commitment to community!
