We kicked off our first series of 2014 this past Sunday in partnership with several other churches that we network with. God truly did a miraculous work in peoples lives.
We want to join with the others who have seen God at work in their local churches
Here is what God did at Hope Hill Church!
- 3 surrendered their lives to Jesus.
- 29 made decisions to join us on mission and want to know more about what it means to be a member of Hope Hill Church.
- Several made decisions to rededicate their lives to Jesus!
Pastor Chris from Image Church captured some great reminders from week 1 for us to think through.
Here are few things to remember:
- The great tragedy is not the sins that we commit, but the life that we fail to live
- Real and lasting change happens from the Inside-Out
- When I submit to Him, He changes me and then he helps me change the other areas of my life that need to be changed – He transforms me
- Wanna know Gods will, do things His way – Wanna know His way, read His Word
- SURRENDER – Stop trying to change without the help of the God of the universe
- Becoming the person that I was created to be begins with discovering and embracing my purpose for existence
even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, Ephesians 1:4-5 [ESV]
- I was created “by God and for God” and I am here to bring Him glory from my life
